Since its opening in 2005, the Cologne Laboratory for Economic Research (CLER) has been one of the world's most active and largest laboratories. Interactive experiments can be conducted on the computer at almost 70 experimental stations.
In our laboratory, we offer scientists, but also Master's students and doctoral candidates, the opportunity to conduct experiments. The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of human decision-making behaviour in different situations. In particular, questions about the motives behind decisions and differences between actual behaviour and theoretical behavioural assumptions are investigated.
Numerous findings originating from the Cologne Laboratory for Economic Research have already won several awards and been published in important journals. If you would also like to contribute to economic research, you can register here as a participant for future experiments.
